The coolest jumps in the history of...jumping

Man, the 3rd, 2nd and 1st jumps are, genuinely, insane. I think i posted the full video for the second jump way back in the day. But this shit is nuts.

Brink Cinematic Trailer

Actually one of the coolest trailers. This game is supposed to involve a "parkour" element, but mostly it's just a "point to where you want to go and we'll take you there quickly" element. Still, looks rad.

The best cat ever - the trololo cat

So funny! You just can't help but lose it.

God i love video games

New Ghost Recon: Future Soldier trailer looks so damn epic. You gotta appreciate the work that went into this. One of the best trailers i've seen, easily.

Wicked trail bike video

This is just one of the easiest things to watch ever...good music, sweet skills. good stuff.

i'm always the last to post...here's the new OK Go! video

...which is quite awesome. The song's catchy and the Rube Goldberg thing is just straight up great. So fun to watch.

Enjoy!

Zach Galifinakis is damn hilarious...

This is the most awkward thing EVER. But it's so good. I've totally posted this before, i realize that now.

Ninja keyboardist knows how to jump and play piano

I think it's just awesome that a lot of the popular indie/electro/retro-revitalize bands (great example is the Valerie and Friends compilation) are actually creating music that sounds similar to the 80s as well as shitty German electro-pop (no offense). But i do really think it's great.

Wicked! Michael Cera in an Islands' music video

Saw these guys at the Mod club (sans cera) and fuck they were great. really clean, super funky, just great to listen and dance to. here they are doing "no you don't" featuring Michael cera, which is just great.

New Caribou album could be pretty good.

Caribou, a indie/electronic/pop band released their last (and first, i believe) album Andorra a year or so ago and it was pretty good. The're related to another band, I want to say Manitoba, with some of the same artists. I'm not 100% sure on that, so don't quote me, but their next album is pretty good. They're on Merge records and if you haven't listened to any M. Ward, who is also on Merge (i believe), you should. Anyway, this is "Odessa" by Caribou.

I'm actually pretty pumped for Kick Ass

It looks pretty damn rad. And these red band trailers are great. the last one was brutally gory, which i think is just swell.

To be awesome

So what does it mean to be awesome? It means a lot of things, too many to count. So instead of counting, let's list them.

It means growing a moustache for November, shaving it in December and then growing it again in January.
It means dancing in your kitchen with headphones on while making a grilled cheese.
It means writing a post about it.
It means being so full of awesome that it comes out your armpits in the form of sweat.
It means being able to bite your fingernails so precisely that you never have to trim them (awesome and pretty gross).
It means knowing who Dolph Lundgren is and that he plays drums, sings (badly) and is an actor, martial artist and model.
It means being obsessed with the game Robot Unicorn Attack!!!
It means having a bottle of liquor with a cobra in it that has another snake in its mouth.
It means being yourself (or being me).
It means being a source of new music for friends (that share your awesome taste in music).
It means constantly pushing the boundaries of what's acceptable and appropriate.
It means defining genius based on being able to make loose connections because you're good at making loose connections.
It means always being able to say "oh yeah, I saw that yesterday" when someone shows you a new and cool internet video.
It means picturing three wells when you say "Well, well, well."

It means buying what you thought were baby blue shoes off the Internet, only to find out they were teal and being happy about it.
It means loving the small things in life more than the bigger things.
It means recognizing that the last thing could be taken in a dirty way but writing it anyway.
It means stopping to pet almost every dog you pass.
It means being like, or knowing, this guy:

It means being grammatically correct in your text messages.
It means lovin' life.
It means knowing how to play frisbee by yourself.
It means being cool with having the last name "Notzl-Keyser."
It means not shaving for 6 months while you're traveling, looking like this and being happy about it:

Whatever "awesome" means...

This is just straight f'ed

I don't know what to make of this. At first it's uncomfortable, then it's random, then it's more random and then it's violent and then it's just fucked. I love these kinds of videos...so unpredictable.

Dolph Lundgren will croon his way into your heart

At first, when he was singing, I thought "this is pretty cool." But when he kicked the boards the guys were holding and then broke the ice blocks, i knew i'd found something special.

skip to the 1:20 mark if you're the impatient type...

A new game! Meat boy

Meat Boy! a semi-traditional scroller, you're a piece of meat trying to go places (story of my life). Fun and addictive (story of my life).

Play Meat Boy

Another fun little game

just so i can find it later. Simple game. Just press "x" to go from roof to ceiling and avoid obstacles and holes.

Robot Running Game

Most amazing game ever!

Robot Unicorns...there are rainbows and stars and addictive gameplay. it's pretty much perfect. But, it's got music and stuff in the beginning, so just click the link below to play it. Super fun!

Robot Unicorn Attack!!!

Cuuute dog snowboarding!

I knew they could skateboard, but snowboard?! Dammnnnnn! He looks pretty stoked. And it's interesting that it seems to be mostly bulldogs that are so good at this. Must be the low centre of gravity.

Really neat video art

This is from an artist out of cologne. It's a beautiful play of images, movement, all within the city space (which i love).

Lionheart - the street fighter edition

Who needs to see the whole movie when you can watch it without all the plot and character development that Van Damme movies are so well known for?

Molina & Johnson plus some wicked gamin'

This is a beautiful combination of gorgeous and rather heart-wrenching music with some fantastic old-school video gamin'. I talked briefly to the kid who put it together and he said there was something lonely in the video games that went well with the music and I must agree. Especially in the skill of the player...it alludes to the solitary nature of the player and the time alone required to reach such ability. Anyway, it's wicked.

The Morning Benders

I just found these guys and i like'em. easy to listen to, which is always nice, with an up-tempo feel that just makes you want to swing your hands and snap your fingers.

I just learned about Gymkhana

This is Ken Block, the founder of DC shoes and he's just a damn wicked driver. This is from Top Gear and it's easily one of the coolest things i've seen in a long time.

My dad's in google maps!

They're in prague maybe 4 times a year and on one of those trips, he happened to be outside the apartment just as the google maps car drove by.

I laugh every time i say this now.

Grandma's trippin out

Boy Least Likely To - "Be Gentle with Me"

A great song, so happy and nice - a great way to start the back to work grind. Nicer than the Operation Ivy i was listening to on the way into work...
