Wicked Skate 2 video

I love that video games are giving people the opportunity to be creative in yet another way. These Skate 2 videos are awesome, people put a lot of time into it and with the filmer packs that let you edit and create skate reels, there are tons of them out there. While some people put a lot of thought into just the skating part, this video has a real cinematic air to it that makes it a lot of fun to watch. editing, intro and some great tricks go into what is my favourite Skate 2 video so far.

I really enjoy Drag City Records. They've got some awesome artists like Bill Callahan, Bonnie "Prince" Billy and Jim O'Rourke. These guys have a nice sort of grungy and kinda simple sound to them that I really enjoy. Bill Callahan especially, gives me the same feeling as a good western movie or a Cormac McCarthy book.

Mega Man 10 looks mega hard

but honestly, who's surprised? These have to be some of the hardest games ever. But here's a little sneak peak of things to come. The music's always been so good.

This looks pretty damn epic. And, there's a little sneak peak of the kraken too, which looks rad. good times.

Very exciting. Anyone who likes RDJr and hasn't seen "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" should totally do so.

Red Dead Redemption

Every once in a while i get cravings for very genre-specific movies. Lately it's been westerns. I just love the feel...the pathos...the slow and subtle style that permeates pretty much all western movies (save, maybe for 3:10 to Yuma). This is a new game from Rockstar games (GTA) and it looks just great. Seems to capture those exact elements...and it's an open world game. Exciting.

Van Dammmmmmme, he can dance!

No he can't. But it's great to watch.

Sitting at work, Bloodsport playing in the background, i couldn't help but think of another Van Damme classic, Kickboxer. The dancing scene is, arguably, one of the funniest things i've ever seen. So good.

Looks pretty rad - Ataque de Panico!

That's a fun movie to say. This is the five minute trailer for Ataque de Pánico! (Panic Attack!) by aspiring Uruguayan director Fede Alvarez. Apparently flashing the video around Hollywood netted the no-name a $30 million movie deal.

Modnation Racers looks RAD

With the potential to offer gameplay similar to Mario Kart and what looks like a really easy track creator, I'm really excited for this game. Look for its release in early 2010.
