Smart smart smart

This is a nice and subtle ad done by Toyota (but you wouldn't really know it) in which they use a car to create a font. I love how they play it off as a creative/artistic endeavour without focussing on the car and ruining the innovation.

Mind fuck of the day...

...this is weird. Awesome and weird. The music's pretty rad and the animation is really well done.

Couple'a rad movie trailer - Ninja Assassin (how could i NOT post this?) and the new Tron Legacy teaser

Longest headline ever? I think so. Now for shortest body copy.

Sweet wu-tang lego music video

Lego videos have done a good job of bringing new hilarity or infamy to a lot of things. From Eddie Izzard's penne arrabiata (done by a 15 year old) to this sweet lego wu-tang video...

Check it:

Does creativity work?

This is a cool video these guys did to try to show the power of creativity. they use some funny words and instantly it's all over the damn internet. It can be more accurately described as the power of ebay...

Alyssa Milano workout video

Everything about this screams porno....the soft-focus, cheesy music, her touselled hair and awkward closeups and the name of the damn video is Teen Steam?! Teen Steam? jesus! There's three more of these videos too...

UPDATE: after watching more of the first one, i decided i should put the remaining two videos. I skipped ahead in the first one to about halfway and Alyssa was doing some sort of squat that was about as pornographic as you could get...so for all you pervs out there, here are the other two...

Quick bit of lolz time.

Lolsquirrel video...I've never had a lolsquirrel before.

[Sidenote: once, when i was younger, i caught a baby squirrel because it wasn't moving very fast and i picked it up and played with it for a while. It was cute but kinda sickly looking. I was with my parents and they were totally into it. After we let it go and walked away, my head was really itchy and my mom, curious, looked into my hair and saw all these little fleas in there. For the next hour or so, she picked at my scalp like an ape.]

And then nerdy lolcat that made me laugh and feel nerdy at the same time.

Now it's time for a little racism...christopher walken styles

...aptly titled "Asians doing Christopher Walken." I don't know if it's really racist, but it's enjoyable.

Every time i hear about christopher walken, it reminds me of a really bad joke...the joke starts off with "What's the opposite of Christopher Reeves?" and i'll let you figure out the punch-line...

I do love disaster movies...

...and i have to imagine that 2012 is going to be the grandpapa of all disaster movies. I hope that this video was put together by the PR team for the movie, cause it's brilliant.

The Russian take on beer pong shots

...so russian...

The World's Fastest

...bunch of shit that's really fast. I love this kinda stuff.

Haha, i love news bloopers...

i'm posting this one because of one video and one video alone. About halfway through there's some cheesy rural or small town-based morning show hosted by a couple of rosey-cheeked, naive and overly-optimistic people who, in hearing their guest say that he's been with his partner for a while and has a message, get so excited by the assumed marriage proposal, you're almost relieved by what he ends up saying...good times.

Great song from the 2nd season of flight of the conchords

soooo goooooood.

This would be my perfect day...

...i try to do one of these things at least once a day. I fail, but that's not the important part.

David Carroll hates United Airlines

This guy, David Carroll, flew United Airlines last year and they broke his $3,500 guitar. After asking to be reimbursed for the loss and being told he wouldn't see a cent, he vowed to seek revenge...by writing 3 songs. This is the first and it's proven to me that i kinda like country music.

don't tell anyone.

Funny People looks...well, funny

Great cast and it seems like a lot of these guys are sort of discovering themselves and becoming more comfortable with being sort of toned-down. I like it. I think that's why these guys (the apatow crowd) are doing better than will ferrell and friends these days.

I posted the first trailer for this a while ago, but this second one looks even better.

If you haven't heard of Zero Punctuation

...you should check him out. He's a british-born dude living in australia who loves video games, is pretty smart and talks really fast. He's a bit of a dick, but that's why we love him.

Here he reviews inFamous, which is an awesome game.

I'm loving the ingenuity going into billboards these days

This video has it all...New Zealand accents, brilliant billboards and a little gore...great stuff. Not actually having "it all," but it's got some good stuff. It could use a little nudity maybe...some slow-mo...martial arts would be great...anyway, the video's pretty rad and i'm really into innovative uses of billboards.

New District 9 trailer!

This movie is looking better and better. And those "Humans only" posters in the movie have made for a terrific semi-guerilla advertising campaign. Really looking forward to this one.

The next Event Horizon?

Maybe...although it looks a little, well, dumber. This is a trailer for Pandorum and i love this sci-fi shit. And, it's got creatures that were once humans, so you know i'm in for it!

Michael Jackson video...

...of his ghost...ooooOOOOOOoooooOOOOOOoooooo. I expected i'd be more motivated to put up videos of Michael Jackson and jump on the RIP bandwagon, but amazingly, this is the first and likely last one I'll post. This is supposedly the ghost of michael jackson "moonwalking" at the end of a hallway during an interview with some CNN dude on Larry King. It's actually pretty real looking, but I'm sure it'll be disproved in a day or two.

*UPDATE*

It's a shadow...seems a bit toooooo convenient, if you ask me. Here's the video of the explanation:
