I find the internet's really been failing me these days. Either that or i'm getting pickier. I just find it's been really hard to find some awesome shit these days. And lolcats are just one of those things that do it to me every time. This one is cute as shit...especially when it jumps up on the chair and meows.

On a side note, you know what i hate? I hate that when you watch a super hilarious movie (like role models) and then try to find a compilation on youtube of all the funny lines, the shit people put together sucks balls. Makes me want to do it myself. I should.

This is how i drive...

I do love my music, just like this guy. I actually had a cab driver who kinda danced like that...but while sitting. He just clapped mostly and offered me cigarettes. It was just a bit much for 7 in the morning. Turned out to be a great start to the day though.

Spanish-speaking soap operas are just amazing...

...and apparently there's a new one on Univision (never heard of it) that features a surprisingly large amount of "cat fights." Watching this, i realized that my life lacks a great deal of intense anger. I don't think i've ever looked at someone with the same fire in my eyes as these women have during the entire "conversation"...the cat fight seems pretty "realistic" until one woman pulls the old sonya blade handstand move...dramatic.

This is the third video from the NASA Music Project that i've found and it's wicked too! This one is directed by Syd Garon and Sage Vaughn, who also created the art.
The track is "Way Down," and features RZA (I love RZA!), vocalist Barbie Hatch, and John Frusciante (Red Hot Chili Peppers.)

...and i don't even know why. this is a really cool video from the upcoming music documentary N.A.S.A., with art by Marcel Dzama and animation by Syd Garon. The track is "The People Tree," and features the musical stylings of Chali 2na, Gift Of Gab & Z-Trip. It's pretty good as a song and beautiful as art.

Just two...Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake. I must say, watching these videos, I was surprised to see that these two were actually as talented as they are when they were younger. My very cynical assumptions about the contemporary pop music industry is that these new people aren't really found as much as they are created. To find out that Britney Spears (especially after her openly lip-synched concert tour "Circus") actually can sing...it's surprising. And that's sad. I'd say it's a damning of our current expectations of musicians. That joke of a tour, too, gives proof to that low-water mark we've reached in the culture of music - to be okay with a SINGER not SINGING at a CONCERT says so much about what we're willing to accept. It's bullshit.

The future of the future...latest Augmented Reality

Pretty rad...this has a lot of potential influence for the future of video games, online interactions and, i'm sure, advertising. It's a very cool use of Augmented Reality, but with a particular camera/viewing screen. The fact that they use Skittles as a method of interaction obviously implies the marketing opportunities.

Crazy trailer makes this movie look insane! It's like every disaster movie you've ever seen, but in one John Cusack movie!

And, in the immortal words of a friend of mine...this one's scarier and sadder than Titanic because "this could actually happen"...amazing.

Pretty sweet new trailer - Zombieland

Love zombies. Love'em. This looks pretty sweet. I like watching the progression of our treatment of zombies, from slow but numerous to fast and freaky. "Fido" suggested they could be domesticated and used as servants and now we're dealing with zombies by making a sort of sport out of killing them. A certain irreverance is healthy, i suppose, but i hate the idea of trivializing the terror that zombies have consistently created.

Wickedly awkward meltdown...

...I have been known to watch the occassional moment of ANTM (American's Next Top Model, for those not in the know), CNTM (you can guess...) and even Make Me a Super Model (MMSM). And it's all for moments like this. But this is worse. this is from She's Got the Look (SGTL) and features one of the most mental breakdowns i've ever seen.

This is a rad video of a bunch of robots with weapons that'll definitely bring down the end of civilization. The middle part, you'll know what i mean, looks like one of those videos they show in movies like i-robot or whatever as a brief and creative way to explain what the hell went wrong. Video Game Post!!!

So e3 is going on and there are some exciting things to be seen, that's for sure. Great new technologies are being shown off like the Xbox Natal and the Motion Controller Demo from Playstation. Below are a bunch of these technologies plus some of the games that I am just so excited for.

PS3 demoed a cool new motion control technology that could be awesome - if it works. In the immortal words of my friend baldy, "Remember Red Steel?"
