Just two...Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake. I must say, watching these videos, I was surprised to see that these two were actually as talented as they are when they were younger. My very cynical assumptions about the contemporary pop music industry is that these new people aren't really found as much as they are created. To find out that Britney Spears (especially after her openly lip-synched concert tour "Circus") actually can sing...it's surprising. And that's sad. I'd say it's a damning of our current expectations of musicians. That joke of a tour, too, gives proof to that low-water mark we've reached in the culture of music - to be okay with a SINGER not SINGING at a CONCERT says so much about what we're willing to accept. It's bullshit.
