Pretty rad...this has a lot of potential influence for the future of video games, online interactions and, i'm sure, advertising. It's a very cool use of Augmented Reality, but with a particular camera/viewing screen. The fact that they use Skittles as a method of interaction obviously implies the marketing opportunities.

The future is here...and it's the beginning of the end
This is a rad video of a bunch of robots with weapons that'll definitely bring down the end of civilization. The middle part, you'll know what i mean, looks like one of those videos they show in movies like i-robot or whatever as a brief and creative way to explain what the hell went wrong. Then Will Smith has to spend 2 hours killing all these damn rabbit-eared robots.

This is cool - a new form of power generation - people!
And no, not like in the matrix...

Scientists have found a way to harness the power of movement by creating cute little hamster jackets that collect the energy created by their movement. Apparently this will eventually be applicable to us humans too, which, let's be honest, is a little more practical.

Scientists have found a way to harness the power of movement by creating cute little hamster jackets that collect the energy created by their movement. Apparently this will eventually be applicable to us humans too, which, let's be honest, is a little more practical.
"To harness hamster power, the scientists sewed electricity-generating threads one-fiftieth the width of a human hair into a yellow jacket worn by the hamsters as they ran. A human-sized jacket, capable of powering an iPod, could be ready in as little as three years.
"This can totally be scaled up," said Zhong Lin 'ZL' Wang, who co-authored a paper describing the research in this month's issue of Nano Letters. "This is just the first step. The idea is that we would harvest energy from any body movement, from walking, breathing, from any kind of vibration."
