No kidding. This story is crazy in so many ways.

1) ShamWow guy's name is Vince Shlomi...and he's 44! He doesn't look a day over 28 or so in the infomercial.

2) He was paying a prostitued $1000 to have sex with him! That's a shit ton of cash for a z-list celebrity.

3) The prosti, Sasha Harris, bit Shlomi's tongue and wouldn't let go so, naturally, he punched her in the face until she did. How crazy is this shit?

For a pretentious motherfucker, i can be pretty slow to catch on to what's cool. This is a great example. These are two really good songs by Devendra Banhart. The second isn't an official music video and it cuts out kinda early...which is pretty irritating, but they're both really great songs.

I mean if you were to talk to a kid now about the burning school house fireworks, they wouldn't believe you. "Burning down a school house," they'd say, "there's now way 'they'd' let that happen."

But this is a pure form of Mercury Thiocyanate. Skip to about 1:28 or so for the good stuff.

I was on the streetcar today and the driver had decided to forgo the convenience of the pre-taped stop announcements and was talking to the passengers over his PA system. It was nice, but no one could really understand him. He said something about St. Patty's Day and how it was the day to eat something with bacon on it...but it couldn't be hagus...and then finished it off, as we all got off, with a "Top of the morning' and bottom of the afternoon to ya." It was nice. Year ago I had another streetcar driver singing "If you're happy and you know it"...that was weirder.

First: The Techno Viking

I love how important this guy seems to be. Everyone's waiting for him to come, some short guy pushes some poor blue-haired pixie out of the way to make room for him, another guy gives him water and when he finally starts dancing and walking (only after having had a sip of his dancing water), the crowd starts to move and the camera pulls out in order to capture all his awesomeness. And his eyes are so intense. It looks like he could kill you with a totally on-beat hand chop.

One could make a strong argument for this being the opposite of the previous video.

Those of you that truly know me...i mean, TRULY know me, know that i love star trek, especially Next Generation. So to find a hilarious Star Trek Next Gen clip with Jean-Luc Picard is a wonderful, wonderful thing.
